Volleyball has been a constant in my life since I was nine years old. It was love at first serve! I played all the way through high school, and though I didn't play collegiate volleyball, I never stopped playing. I started my coaching career at age 19, which means that I've been a volleyball coach for over 26 years! I've coached everyone from adults to 9-year-olds, boys and girls, "Almost State Champions' and Almost Didn't Make the Team. I coach both indoor and beach.

I've coached many levels, from 10U all the way to collegiate beach volleyball. My passion is helping athletes grow in the sport, while keeping their love, enthusiasm, and joy for playing. Success in this sport can take many forms and that measure is all up to the athlete and what he or she wants to achieve. My favorite benchmark for success is seeing athletes that I coached playing volleyball long after their high school, club, or collegiate careers have ended. They are still playing simply because they love it, and perhaps, volleyball is a piece of their wellness picture.

There are so many positive things that have happened in my life that can be traced to my associations in volleyball. That is no exaggeration! My network of people that I have met through playing and coaching volleyball has provided me with so many fruitful connections and multiple career opportunities as an adult.

The confidence that I have gained through playing, coaching, and networking in volleyball is priceless. I thoroughly enjoy giving back to the volleyball community by coaching and mentoring.
