Kimika Rozier

Kimika Rozier is a passionate volleyball leader with over 20 years of coaching experience and a deep commitment to athlete development and growing the game. A former elite-level athlete, Kimika played professionally overseas for 10 years, gaining invaluable international experience and perspective.
She is an alumna of Washington State University and the University of South Florida, where she competed at the highest collegiate level and earned an Elite Eight appearance, demonstrating excellence both on and off the court.
In addition to her playing career, Kimika serves as a USA Volleyball National Team Development Program (NTDP) Coach for the U19 National Team, helping identify, develop, and mentor the nation’s top emerging talent. Her coaching philosophy centers on confidence, discipline, and long-term athlete growth.
Through her leadership with Volleyball Institute Oregon, Kimika continues to inspire athletes, coaches, and families by staying true to her mission:
“Building Confidence through Volleyball.”

Kimika’s specialties include blocking, serving, passing, and attacking, with an emphasis on both technical skill development and in-game strategy. She prioritizes teaching athletes how to execute each skill and why it matters within the flow of the game. With a strong focus on volleyball IQ, Kimika helps players read the game, make smart decisions under pressure, and translate training into confident, competitive performance on the court.
